What’s The Deal With Wage Growth?

An “explainer” style video that seeks to inform the audience about wage growth stagnation for U.S. workers, despite excellent overall economic growth.

The process began with fact-finding and developing an outline. I developed a moodboard — a juxtaposition of the physicality of cash in worker's hands with the all-seeing, unfeeling whims of the electronic stock market.

My first stab at this project was my first big foray into After Effects. I was proud of it as a learning experience, but wanted to refine the project after the semester was over. I worked on a completely new version over winter break.
